Men of Faith

Our Men's Ministry seeks to come alongside and disciple the men of our church in both practical and spiritual ways.  Whether you are a first time visitor, regular attender or long time member, we desire to encourage and support men as they seek to live daily before the face of God.

The Men's Ministry here at Faith was revitalized and rejuvenated with our first annual Men of Faith Retreat held on November 3-5, 2006 at Camp Twin Echoes in Ligonier, PA.  Pastor Barnett spoke on applying our faith to the workplace.

Our second annual retreat was held on November 2-4, 2007 at the NOVA 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal, VA.  Dave Brown of the Washington Area Coalition of Men's Ministries spoke on treating women with integrity and respect.

The third annual retret is planned for November 7-9, 2008 at the NOVA 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal, VA.  For more information please see Michael Chua or Jon Jacobsen or Pastor Bob Barnett.

Meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, 7:00-8:00 PM, led by Jon Jacobsen.  Our current study is the Gospel of Luke. Any man, of any age, can benefit from attendance.  Though done as a 'series,' each lesson stands alone - meaning irregular attendance is fine.  No preparation required.
